PERFORMANCE & COMFORT
Why Vinyl Flooring Makes Sense
for Modern Living
100% Waterproof
Vinyl flooring is completely waterproof, making it perfect for bathrooms, laundry rooms, kitchens, and basements where moisture is a concern.
Climate Stable
For Denver-area homeowners, vinyl also handles our climate beautifully. Temperature swings and dry winter air that can affect hardwood don't faze vinyl.
Noise Reduction
It's quieter than hardwood or laminate. Built-in underlayment softens footsteps and muffles sound, ideal for multi-level Colorado homes.
Warm Underfoot
Provides better thermal insulation than tile or stone, staying comfortable during Denver winters. Slip-resistant even when wet.

Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP)
Mimics the look of hardwood with remarkable accuracy. The planks come in various widths and lengths, with textures that replicate real wood grain. We install it in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, and anywhere you want a wood aesthetic without the maintenance concerns.

Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT)
Replicates stone, ceramic, or porcelain tile. It's popular for kitchens, bathrooms, and entryways where you want the high-end look of tile without the cold, hard surface or grout maintenance.
Perfect for Colorado Homes
Living in the Denver metro area means dealing with specific challenges. We track in dirt and mud during spring and fall. Snow and ice melt off boots in winter. Pets come in from the yard. Vinyl flooring handles all of it without complaint.
The waterproof nature of vinyl is particularly valuable in Colorado basements. Even in finished basements, there's always some risk of moisture. Vinyl gives you peace of mind that a surprise pipe leak or humidity issue won't ruin your floors.
Mud & Snow Resistance
Resists grit and moisture from boots effortlessly.
Basement Optimization
Ideal for finished basements prone to subtle dampness.
Installation Methods
We use two main installation methods for vinyl flooring, depending on your subfloor and the specific product you choose.

Floating (Click-Lock)
The most common method for residential projects. The planks or tiles click together and "float" over the subfloor without adhesive. This method works over most existing floors (with proper preparation) and is ideal for basements since it doesn't require gluing to concrete.

Glue-Down Installation
Adhering your vinyl directly to the subfloor. We typically use this method for commercial projects or in areas where a completely solid feel is important. Vinyl will telegraph imperfections, so we take time to level, clean, and prime as needed.
Maintaining Your Floors
01
Routine Sweeping
Daily debris removal prevents abrasive grit from dulling the wear layer.
02
Damp Mopping
Use pH-neutral cleaners. Avoid steam mops which can damage the adhesive core.
03
Protection
Apply felt pads to furniture legs to eliminate scratch risks during movement.
The good news is that vinyl doesn't need refinishing like hardwood, doesn't require sealing like tile, and doesn't stain like carpet. It's genuinely low-maintenance flooring that looks good for years with minimal effort.
Vinyl vs. Laminate vs. Hardwood
Since we install all three types of flooring, we can give you an honest comparison based on what we see in real homes.
Laminate is also durable and affordable, but it's not waterproof. Vinyl wins in kitchens, bathrooms, and basements.
Hardwood adds more resale value and can be refinished, making it better for main living areas if budget allows. But vinyl costs less, installs faster, handles moisture, and requires less maintenance. For practical spaces like kitchens, bathrooms, mudrooms, and basements, vinyl is often the smarter choice.
Many of our customers use a combination: hardwood in formal living areas and bedrooms, vinyl in kitchens and bathrooms. This approach gives you the best of both worlds.
Modern and Luxury Styles
Today's vinyl flooring comes in an incredible range of styles. Want wide-plank oak? We've got it. Prefer trendy gray tones? No problem. Looking for the look of weathered barnwood or elegant marble? Vinyl can do that too.x
We work with top manufacturers who offer modern designs that keep up with current trends. Whether your style is farmhouse, contemporary, traditional, or industrial, we'll help you find vinyl flooring that fits your vision. The luxury vinyl products we install feature realistic textures, beveled edges, and color variation that makes each plank or tile unique.
